Charlotte Turnbull

Charlotte specialises in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Employment Law and Regulatory Compliance. She is a Partner in the firm and is also head of the Employment Department. Charlotte was admitted as a solicitor in 2005 and joined the firm in 2012.

Prior to joining the firm Charlotte worked for a variety of firms including a City practice, a regional heavyweight, a boutique litigation practice in Lincoln’s Inn and one of Australia’s “Big Six” law firms in Sydney.

On the employment side, Charlotte regularly advises on business restructuring, contracts of employment, disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination and equal pay, family and pregnancy-related issues, flexible working, restrictive covenants, restraint of trade, confidentiality and intellectual property, TUPE and unfair dismissal.

In respect of Charlotte’s commercial litigation practice she has experience in banking, financial services, technology, business, commercial and contractual disputes and professional negligence. Charlotte is also experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution, in particular mediation.

Charlotte also advises clients on their compliance with regulatory matters and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Investment and Securities.

Charlotte’s clients include a variety of businesses in many industries, with a particular emphasis on the technology and financial services sectors. Charlotte also has expertise in working with fast-growing businesses, acting as their in-house legal adviser to assist them in achieving their strategic goals.

In addition to being a partner in the firm, Charlotte is also the Managing Director of HR Consultancy & Advisory Services Limited, which provides an outsourced HR consulting and advisory facility to SMEs.

Charlotte lives in Essex with her husband. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys travelling, the theatre and reading and enjoys keeping fit. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
